Free Yourself of Fear, Obligation, and Guilt

The program begins Monday October 4th!

The Bounded Compassion course is for those of us who were taught to set aside our own needs.

You might have been told you were too sensitive any time you tried to communicate your limits.

Or your parents might have set the example of someone who always put other people first. 

Or it might not have been safe to say no.

Now is the time to learn to assert your own wants and wishes. No more feeling defensive or guilty. No more feeling like you have to justify your needs. Together we’re going to learn that NO is a complete sentence!

Over the course of 6-weeks we’ll work together on setting loving but firm limits with friends, family members, acquaintances, and colleagues. 

You will learn how to identify and clearly communicate your expectations, hold strong even when there’s push back, AND you’ll learn how not to get caught up in the drama of other people’s reactions.

The course is $97 and starts on October 1st. Just in time to get your boundaries in place before the holiday visits begin!!!

I’ve been working with families for the past thirty years. I’ve been a preschool teacher, a childcare site director, a parenting educator, a college course instructor, a family case manager, an editor at a national parenting magazine, and a counselor in private practice working with parents and kids. My commitment is to support moms like you who are working SO HARD to do things differently than their own parents. I have two kids — one grown, one nearly — and my work has been informed and inspired by my own challenges, grief, growth and joy as a parent and a daughter committed to doing things differently.
